Episode Summary

We're back from a week of camping (which was fun). We've had a couple things rolling around in our heads, we riff off a podcast about how to change people's minds, then we move on to some comments off another podcast regarding the damaging undercurrent of Instagram and how to combat the lure and false promise of the digital life. This leads naturally to some [more] comments on transhumanism, natural law and supercats. Then we get to the much teased Molly's rant- hint: it's about how we're designed and it relates to everything thus far and the solution is food and having relationship with people around the table. Imagine that?!

Episode Summary

JR kicks of the show with nothing to say, Molly shares a garden update and they explore a new idea for helping one of the kids express some individuality. Molly then talks about "decentering" her faith from a starting point of sin and what happens when you're trusting in Jesus and still not happy. We explore Jesus' suffering alone so that we don't feel alone and delve into how to effectively minister to somone's soul in the process. Somehow, this works into a discussion on praying for cats and praying for people to rise from the dead. We close the show with an encouragement to live out your faith and make someone's day with it.
